As agriculture is directly dependent on the use of environmental compartments, it must not only face the impacts of climate change, but also the increasing requirements for the inclusion of environmental objectives in agricultural production. This transformation is to be supported by the Action Plan for the Development of Organic Production that is supposed to motivate farmers to a more environmentally friendly approach. Another important topic in this field is the ground-breaking adoption of a new system of environmental and ecosystem accounts.
