If you previously gave up on applying for the subsidy programme for photovoltaic power stations due to the tight deadlines for filing a project and acquiring a building permit, we recommend revisiting your plans. The Modernisation Fund has extended the deadline for filing applications for grants under calls RES+ No. 1/2024 and RES+ No. 2/2024.
The new deadlines are as follows:
- Call RES+ No. 1/2024 for installing photovoltaic power stations with output from 50 kW to 5 MWp primarily for own consumption has been extended until 31 December 2024.
- RES+ No. 2/2024 for installing photovoltaic power stations with output exceeding 1 MWp primarily for network supplies has been extended until 31 October 2024.
Below is a reminder of the basic parameters of the programme:
What expenditure can be supported:
- Direct implementation costs, such as construction work, technology, services directly related to the implementation of the project (PVPS installation etc.)
- Along with the provided support for the installation of a photovoltaic power station, the following may be supported:
- Systems for battery accumulation of the electric energy produced; and
- Systems for the production of hydrogen through water electrolysis.
- Activities of professional technical supervision or author’s supervision.
- Expenditure on ensuring work safety on the construction site, extra work.
- Expenditure on mandatory publicity related to the project.
Level of support:
- Up to 30% on PVPS, up to 50% on batteries
- The subsidy is set out as subsidy of units according to the installed output (approx. CZK 7,000 / 1 kWp)

- Businesses of all sizes
- The whole Czech Republic including Prague
