The State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic has published the anticipated schedule of calls for the Modernization Fund for 2025, bringing significant opportunities for entrepreneurs in the areas of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and ecological innovations. The fund will continue to support a wide range of projects from photovoltaics to energy savings in industry, electrical grids, and investments in hydrogen and biomethane production. A new addition will be a separate call for the acquisition of battery storage – call RES+ No. 5/2025. Given current trends in sustainability and energy self-sufficiency, a substantial interest from the business sector in these new grant opportunities from the Modernization Fund is expected.
What is the Modernization Fund?
The Modernization Fund is one of the key financing tools for projects focused on decarbonization and the development of energy infrastructures in the Czech Republic.
