TRANSPORT 2030: the 4th public tender is coming. What should you not miss?

The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) has published preliminary parameters for the 4th public call under the TRANSPORT 2030 programme. The programme supports applied research and innovation across land, water, and air transport, covering both vehicles and transport infrastructure.

The call is planned to launch on 13 May 2026, with proposals accepted from 14 May to 8 July 2026. Results are expected by the end of 2026, projects are expected to start in January 2027, and may run for 12–48 months, with the latest end date in December 2030.

The total allocation is expected to be CZK 400 million, with a maximum support of CZK 30 million per project and a funding rate of up to 70% of eligible costs. Eligible costs include personnel, subcontracting, other direct costs, and intellectual property (IP) protection. Indirect costs can be covered using the full-cost method or a flat rate of 25%.

Eligible applicants include companies of all sizes, research organisations, and public administrations, either as the main applicant or as an additional project partner. Each proposal must include at least one application guarantor based in the Czech Republic linked to the practical use of project results. Projects should align with one of the following programme objectives: sustainable, accessible, and safe transport; automation and digitalisation of transport; or low-emission and environmentally friendly solutions. If you are considering applying, confirm which programme objective best fits your project concept, identify a Czech Republic–based application guarantor connected to the expected practical use of results, and plan internal resourcing and partner roles early to meet the 8 July 2026 submission deadline.
