The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic announced the first call for proposals in the TREND programme, focusing on the support of applied research and experimental development. The objective of the TREND programme is to support projects focusing on implementing the results of industrial research and experimental development in practice and on the support of penetration of new markets. The programme is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, but the provider of the support is the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.
Applicants in this call for proposals can include enterprises and research organisations. A necessary prerequisite for the projects is achieving a certain type of result, such as a prototype, functional sample, software, industrial or utility model, etc. The subsidy applies to staff costs, costs of sub-supplies, indirect costs and other direct costs.
The maximum amount of support of one project within this call for proposals is up to 70% of total eligible costs, based on the type of research activity and type of applicant. The maximum amount of support per project is up to CZK 70 million, based on the type of research activity and type of applicant.
The deadline for submitting project proposals has been set to 11 July 2019.
