Signing in to the ISKP21+ grant portal changes

Starting from 29 March 2024, it will no longer be possible to sign in to the ISKP21+ grant portal via “ADFS”, i.e. by filling in a username and password. So, in case you are preparing a project plan or are already performing and administering a grant project, do not leave the change to the last minute.

Newly, the way of signing in and verifying the user’s identity is changing in ISKP21+. Now, the user is obliged to log in to ISKP21+ solely using the NIA (National Identity Authority). Sign-in may be performed using any electronic means of identification. It may be for example the bank identity, MojeID (MyID), eGovernment mobile key, eObčanka (e-ID), NIA ID (former “name, password, SMS”), IIG – International ID Gateway, or I.CA identity with the Starcos card.

This change affects all contracting authorities and recipients, i.e. all external ISKP21+ users. Specifically, users logging in to the system using ADFS (username and password) through one or more accounts. The change does not affect foreign users and users who already sign in using NIA. The change is mainly for security reasons.

The change may be performed through a dispatch in ISKP21+ and an e-mail sent by the administrators for each user account owned. In the e-mail, you will find a unique key to be able to unite all accounts into one and place a request for adjusting the identity to the new way of signing in. The request will be dealt with by the application provider, who will inform you about the execution of the request by e-mail.

This change may best be made before 29 March 2024. After that date, it will no longer be possible to sign in to MS21+ using ADFS; however, you will still be able to perform the identity adjustment; once made, you will be able to sign in to ISKP21+ again. The application administrators handle the request within a day, but during that time you expose yourself to the risk that you will not be able to sign in to the portal and meet the obligatory deadlines in your grant project.
