Announcement of new calls in programmes focused on the fight against the COVID-19 infection

In its emergency meeting on 14 October, the Government passed several subsidy programmes to support businesses and entrepreneurs in economic sectors which have been the most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This, in fact, represents an extension of the existing programmes or new programmes under preparation, such as COVID – Culture, COVID – Rental, COVID – Bus or COVID – Sport II. Businesses and entrepreneurs will be provided with CZK 3.45 billion in total from these programmes.

COVID – Rental

The Government approved the preparation of a second call in the COVID – Rental programme intended for businesses and entrepreneurs who had to shut down or significantly reduce their business activities in the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in relation to the measures adopted by the Government. The businesses may be provided with a rental contribution up to 50 % of the total rental for the 3rd quarter of 2020. This time, as a discount from the lessor is no longer needed, the application submission has become much easier. Businesses and entrepreneurs will be supported by CZK 1.2 billion in total.
