Announcement of New Public Tenders for the Support of Applied Research and Innovations by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic
In early April, the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic announced a new call aimed at the support of applied research, experimental development and innovations in the area of transportation – TRANSPORTATION 2020+.
TRANSPORTATION 2020+
This programme provides aid to projects in the area of transportation whose aim is the development of this sector. This tender also extends to all projects related to the current situation that would attempt to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the transportation sector. The project results are required to have the potential to be further applied in practice and the projects are required to fulfil at least one of the four aims of the programme, which include:
- Sustainable transportation.
- Safe and resilient transportation and transport infrastructure.
- Accessible and interoperable transportation.
- Automation, digitalisation, navigation and satellite systems.
Who can request the grant:
- The applicants of the public tender may be enterprises, research organisations, organisational bodies of the state or local authorities.
What the grant can be used for:
- Personnel costs and scholarships.
- Costs for subcontracting.
- Other direct costs.
- Indirect costs.
Grant amount per project:
- The maximum aid per project is CZK 50 million.
Aid intensity per project:
- The maximum aid per project is 80% eligible costs.
Tender period:
- 9 April 2020 – 10 June 2020.
