On 20 March 2023, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs announced a long-awaited call entitled Corporate Training. From this call of the Operational Programme Employment Plus, you can receive subsidy support for professional training and development of your employees in the amount of up to CZK 6 million. The subsidy is open to companies of all sizes, including companies based in Prague.

In the programming period 2021–2027, the Operational Programme Employment Plus is a key instrument for the use of funding from the European Social Fund Plus, focused on social inclusion, the future of work and employment.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has prepared the currently open Call No. 47 for business entities, in which enterprises of all sizes will distribute CZK 1 billion. The call is aimed at further vocational training of employees supported by employers, covering professional and key competencies.

The projects supported in this call will be financed on a unit-cost basis. The amount of support is, therefore, not linked to the actual costs incurred but is set in units. The unit cost rates for 1 ’man-hour’ (60 minutes of training for 1 person) are the same for all types of courses and are as follows:

What expenditures can be supported:

  • Soft and managerial skills
  • Technical and other vocational training – including e.g. accounting, economics, law
  • Language training

All courses must be delivered by external training providers. The form of the course may be either face-to-face or distance learning.

Who may apply for the subsidy:

  • Enterprises of all sizes
  • State enterprises, state organisations (excluding schools and educational institutions)
  • self-employed persons
  • The whole territory of the Czech Republic, including Prague

Form, intensity, and amount of subsidy:

  • Support under the de minimis regime
  • Aid intensity 76.735%
  • The minimum amount of support is CZK 1 million; the maximum amount is CZK 6 million

Receipt of applications:

  • Start: 20 March 2023
  • End: 16 June 2023

The maximum duration of the project is set at 2 years; the earliest commencement date of the project is 1 March 2024, and the project should be completed by 31 May 2026.

Support will not be granted for legally compulsory employee training (occupational health and safety, fire protection, driver training) and IT training courses.
