Get a subsidy for employee education

It will soon be possible to support vocational education and development of employees with a subsidy from the ‎Operational Programme Employment Plus. The announcement of a new call for corporate education is planned for ‎the end of November 2025. The subsidy can be obtained by companies of all sizes, including companies based in ‎Prague.‎

In the 2021–2027 programming period, the Operational Programme Employment Plus is a key instrument for the use of funds from the European Social Fund Plus, focused on social inclusion, the future of work and employment.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs plans to announce Call No. 83 for business entities in November, in which companies of all sizes will share CZK 700 million. The call focuses on employer-supported continuing professional training of employees in professional and key competences, with an emphasis on people over 55 years of age,  and on upskilling in digital skills. The expected parameters of the prompt are as follows:

Who can apply for the subsidy:

  • Businesses of all sizes
  • The entire territory of the Czech Republic, including Prague

What expenses can be supported:

  • IT education and other technical and professional courses (e.g. accounting, economics, law)
  • Soft and managerial skills
  • Language education

Form, degree and amount of support:

  • De minimis aid
  • Financing according to unit costs – the amount of support is determined according to a fixed rate per 1 “person-hour”

Receipt of applications:

  • From November 25, 2025 to January 26, 2026
