On 30 March 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to announce the Virtual Enterprise – Call I, which will support the improvement of the digital level of small and medium-sized enterprises. What can be supported:

The support is intended for investments in the purchase and implementation of advanced non-manufacturing digital technologies, which will help to ensure a significant shift in digitalisation in the enterprise, e.g. through process automation, digitalisation of data and agendas, more efficient networking and business management.

Specifically, this may include the acquisition of logistics or monitoring systems, hardware for mobile remote access to the corporate network, or software applications enabling the digital transformation of the enterprise via the cloud.

What expenditure can be supported:

  • HW: robotic machines for transporting goods or cleaning in the company premises, technologies working with barcodes, QR readers, servers, chips, sensors, optical and metallic cables, BIM systems, cybersecurity, etc.
  • SW: design software, systems working with AI, VR, augmented reality, ERP, MIS systems, automated processing of orders, invoices, production management, etc.

Who may apply for the subsidy: Small and medium enterprises

Place of implementation: The whole territory of the Czech Republic excluding Prague (the company may have its registered office in Prague)

Subsidy rate: 30% – 40% according to enterprise size

Subsidy amount: CZK 500 thousand – CZK 5 million, under the de minimis regime

The above parameters are only preliminary, we will know the exact conditions of the call after its announcement, and we will keep you informed.

If you do not manage to prepare your project plan for the Virtual Enterprise call, the next subsidy opportunity for the digitalisation of the enterprise will be the Digital Enterprise – Call I, which is to be announced in the autumn of this year. Here it will be possible to finance the acquisition of HW or SW related to a major change in the production process or the expansion of the capacity of the establishment or the production range.
