Preparation of calls from the National Recovery Plan

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is preparing the first calls of the National Recovery Plan, which are expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks. The Plan aims to revive the economy through subsidy support and help address the economic and social impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. Other goals of the Plan include helping to implement ecological and digital transformation, enhancing productivity and achieving sustainability. In total, approximately CZK 180 billion in the form of subsidies will be distributed from the Plan to companies and entrepreneurs.

More information on each call follows below: 

Photovoltaic systems with/without accumulation

Within this call, the support will involve the acquisition and installation of photovoltaic power plants for business buildings, including shelters (e.g. for cars or storing material).

Who may apply for the subsidy:

  • Businesses of all sizes

Aid intensity per project:

  • Maximum 35% in the case of photovoltaic power plants
  • Maximum 50% in the case of energy accumulation (45% in Prague)

Receipt of project proposals:

  • From November 2021 to March 2022

Water saving in companies

Within this call, the support will involve projects focused on saving water in the corporate sector. This saving can be achieved, for example, by increasing the efficiency of water distribution, reducing water consumption of technological processes yet while maintaining existing productivity, using rainwater or recycling or circulating water.

Who may apply for the subsidy:

  • Businesses of all sizes

Aid intensity per project:

  • Maximum 40% of eligible costs

Receipt of project proposals:

  • From December 2021 to December 2022

Circular solutions in companies

Within this call, the support will involve projects focused on introducing innovative technologies used for the extraction of secondary raw materials in such quality that allows their further use in industrial production, as well as technologies for efficient extraction of secondary raw materials from used products and technologies that enable the production of products from secondary raw materials.

Who may apply for the subsidy:

  • Businesses of all sizes

Aid intensity per project:

  • Maximum 40% of eligible costs

Receipt of project proposals:

  • From December 2021 to December 2022

Heat distribution in district heating systems

Within this call, the support will involve activities such as modernisation, development and interconnection of existing heat supply systems and installation or modernisation of technologies related to the distribution, measurement and control of heat supply systems.

Who may apply for the subsidy:

  • Businesses of all sizes

Aid intensity per project:

  • Maximum 50% of eligible costs

Receipt of project proposals:

  • From December 2021 to December 2022

Electromobility

Within this call, the support will involve the purchase of a car with alternative fuel, both passenger and cargo vehicles, minibuses, motorcycles, four-wheelers or e-cargo bikes. The construction of infrastructure, i.e. charging stations for electric cars, will also be supported, both for charging points in residential buildings and for entrepreneurs.

Who may apply for the subsidy:

  • Businesses of all sizes

Aid intensity per project:

  • Maximum 40% of the purchase price of the vehicle
  • Intensity for charging points will be specified

Amount of the subsidy per project:

  • At least CZK 250,000 per car
  • Amount for charging points will be specified

Receipt of project proposals:

  • During 2022
