The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced a subsidy call for high-end IT equipment for enterprises

On 19 April 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the long-awaited Call I. Virtual Enterprise under the Operational Programme Technology and Applications for Competitiveness. This is a subsidy support for the acquisition of new non-manufacturing technologies and for increasing the level of automation and digitalisation of business processes.

The allocation for the call is EUR 500 Mio. It is intended only for small and medium-sized enterprises of all types of business activities that will implement their project plans outside the territory of the capital city of Prague (however, the headquarters of an enterprise may be in Prague). Support can be drawn up to EUR 200,000 in the de minimis regime, the rate of support ranges from 30% to 40% depending on the size of the applicant for subsidy.

What exactly can be supported:

Investments in IT equipment that significantly help to advance the level of automation and digitalisation of the enterprise will be supported, such as:

The reception of applications for support will start on 3 July 2023 and will run until 2 November 2023. This is an ongoing call, so projects will be evaluated in the order in which they are submitted until the allocation is exhausted. The latest date for the completion of the physical implementation of the project is 31 July 2025.
