What the subsidy covers:

The programme is aimed at funding applied research projects whose results have a high potential for further utilisation in new approaches, technological processes and services leading to enhanced social and economic benefits of transport. The programme covers the research and development of the entire transport system and all modes of transport, i.e. land, water and air, including all types of transport vehicles and transport infrastructure. The project may result in, for example: an industrial design/utility model, a prototype, a functional sample, a patent, software, pilot plants, a proven technology, or a specialised public database.

Support will be available under the three specific objectives of the programme:

• Sustainable, accessible, and safe transport
• Automation, digitalisation, and technologically advanced transport
• Low-emission, and environmentally friendly transport

What expenditures can be supported:

• Personnel costs
• Contractual research costs
• Costs of capital equipment (tools, instruments, technology) in the form of depreciation of tangible fixed assets
• Costs of low-value tangible and intangible assets
• Overheads and other operating costs, including costs of materials, components and supplies, costs of protection of intellectual property rights

Who may apply for the subsidy:

• Enterprises of all sizes, research organisations, government departments

Place of implementation: the whole territory of the Czech Republic including Prague

Intensity of subsidy: up to 80%; up to 65% for large enterprises

Amount of subsidy: the maximum subsidy amount is CZK 25 million

Deadlines:

• Date of announcement of the tender: 26 April 2023
• Deadline for the submission of project proposals: 27 April 2023 – 28 June 2023
• Start of the project implementation: January-February 2024
• Completion of the project implementation: by June 2026
• Duration of the project implementation: within 12-30 months
