In early August, we expect to announce calls to support circular economy and water savings, which will be opened to small, medium and large enterprises with a medium market capitalisation (up to 3,000 employees). The receipt of applications is expected to be open from 15 August to 30 November 2023.

In autumn, the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to announce calls focused on IT and Technology 4.0. These programmes will support digital transformation, automation and robotisation of processes for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The fourth quarter will bring opportunities mainly in the research and development area, where the Applications and Innovations calls are planned to be announced. These programmes are among the most administratively demanding – they require a well-developed business plan and extensive supporting documentation, so we recommend that you start preparing your grant application as soon as possible.

One of the most anticipated events of this year is the announcement of the RES+ calls from the Modernisation Fund, which will finance the acquisition of photovoltaic power plants. However, the announcement of the calls for small (up to 1 MWp) and large (above 1 MWp) PV installations is now announced for November/December. The opening of the calls and the start of application submission is then likely to take place in the new year 2024.
